CURE Therapy
Hi, I'm Dr. J'haria Dallas, and I'm so glad you're here.
College can be an exciting and transformative time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you're navigating academic stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, family expectations, career uncertainty, burnout, or major life transitions, you don't have to face it alone. Seeking support is a courageous step, and by being here, you're already investing in yourself and your well-being.
My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help students better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be holding them back while also identifying the strengths and resources they already possess. Together, we'll explore what's beneath the surface, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful goals that align with the life you want to build.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Georgia. Throughout my work as a counselor, educator, and supervisor, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging and uncertain moments. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of having a supportive space where you can be authentic, reflect, and grow.
I work with college students and young adults who are seeking greater confidence, balance, self-understanding, and connection. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate challenges while building the skills needed to thrive both personally and academically.
More than anything, I believe in your ability to grow through adversity, discover your strengths, and create meaningful change. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin. Wherever you are in your journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
