Starting college is a major life transition that can be exciting, but also challenging and overwhelming. Adjusting to new routines, increased academic demands, and changing social circles is difficult for many students. Nearly 76% of college students report experiencing moderate to severe stress or distress, with anxiety, loneliness, and depression being especially common during this stage of life. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or isolated, therapy offers a supportive space to process tough emotions and big changes. Together, we can develop coping strategies that build resilience and self-compassion, helping you navigate these challenges and rediscover your inner strengths. Change is hard, but you don’t have to figure it out alone!

Are you Autistic and/or ADHD and struggling in a world not designed for your neurotype? Or do you suspect that you may be Autistic and/or ADHD and want to work with a down-to-earth neurodivergent psychologist to find out? Are you looking for a therapist who gets the struggle? I offer collaborative and neurodiversity-affirming assessment and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the needs of Autistic and ADHD clients. Assessment may help you better understand yourself or your child. I offer neurodiversity-affirming Autism and ADHD assessments for all ages, and have a special interest in clients whose autism and/or ADHD are masked by other factors such as high cognitive and/or verbal ability, gender, race, age, or other psychiatric diagnoses. DBT may help you understand and manage your thoughts, feelings, and behavior to align with your goals. I offer DBT (group-only or comprehensive DBT) tailored to the needs of Autistic clients, and am currently co-authoring a manual for Guilford Press on tailoring DBT for the needs of Autistic clients.

You’re functional on the outside but feel stuck on the inside, repeating the same patterns in anxiety, relationships, or habits you can’t seem to change. You’re sick of surface-level advice and want therapy that gets to the root of what’s driving things. As a psychodynamic therapist, I offer a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore the patterns shaping your life. I believe that you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to listen carefully, offer challenges when helpful, & support you in changing what isn't working.
Life is hard. Like, really hard. And you're doing all the right things; but you still feel anxious. You can't seem to stop overthinking everything. You are feeling more and more insecure and are worried about feeling like a burden to others. You've tried to rationalize your thinking, but aren't getting anywhere. And now, that inner critic has become so loud and so present, that it's hard to hear or believe anything else. This is what I often hear from clients, and I get it - I've been there too. I understand what it's like to be labelled as "sensitive" and viewing emotions as a weakness. It's hard to figure out how to feel confident in who you are while living up to others' expectations. To feel constantly worried about "doing the right thing" and struggling with feeling "selfish" when you're trying to set boundaries. I help those who are excessively worried, struggling with low self-esteem, and experiencing relational distress gain confidence in being their authentic selves. I help my clients learn how to cope with their emotional experiences while practicing self-compassion. Emotions are not our enemy; in fact, emotions have a purpose. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness - I help clients learn how to use their emotions to connect with their inner selves and identify patterns and themes that wreak havoc in their lives. If you find yourself tired of feeling chronically defeated and are ready for change- it's time to start your journey of self-healing and growth.
Open Hearted Minds (OHM) operates on the concept that treating the psyche and soul is a blend of evidenced based practices with sound science as well as respecting the client's lived experiences. I specialized in mood disorders, trauma, addiction and identity development.
Welcome to Restoration Hope. Our goal is to help people feel their best through a mind | brain | body approach. Sometimes we need support in how we think and the memories we can't seem to let go of. Sometimes we need to help our brain find a state of calm and focus. And sometimes we need to help our bodies heal in order to feel better. We're here to help you figure out the best plan for you.
Are you queer and struggling with body image and food? Or just feeling disconnected from your body? Are you looking for a therapist who gets it—who’s been there? I am an eating disorder therapist who is also queer. Believe it to not, the LGBTQ community is hit hardest when it comes to struggling with our relationship with our bodies. Many of us have had eating disorders, and even more of us struggle significantly with body image. As a trained somatic therapist, I hope to support you to have a better relationship with your body, and to understand the language it speaks—including how trauma may have manifested in your nervous system.
At The Sanctuary Collective, you will find passionate professionals with varying backgrounds who are ready to support you through your journey. We desire to have someone listen wholeheartedly to our story. Our desire is to be a place that is safe, without judgement to create change within ourselves so that we can engage in the world. Our belief is that we have a mind, body and soul that works as one and, from this mindset, we take a holistic (whole-person) approach for the most complete healing for you to thrive and be well. We would love to be a part of creating a safe space for you to shed your old narratives and embrace a brave new chapter. It might be scary or uncomfortable, but you are worth it!
We are not meant to be alone. Brandon Engler believes that life is fully lived and experienced in the context of relationships. Just as mental / emotional pain and suffering often originate in relationships, healing and growth must also come from cultivating a healthy relationship with a competent healer. Brandon takes special care to nurture this relationship with his clients so that healing and growth come naturally during the process. Brandon Engler has a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse, both from the University of West Florida.
