Hey! I’m Tim, and I specialize in helping high schoolers, college students, and young adults find meaning and feel more grounded. Life as a young person can be tough. You might be struggling with anxious thoughts and feelings, navigating your relationships and responsibilities, and building your identity. It’s understandable if you feel overwhelmed by these things, and therapy can help. I provide a friendly, nonjudgemental space to help you learn more about yourself, create change, and ultimately feel better. I have extensive experience working with students at CU Boulder or BVSD schools. I also have personal experience in therapy as a young adult, so I deeply understand how challenging this time in life can be, and how much therapy can help. I work hard to make sure that each of our sessions together will feel productive, cathartic, and even enjoyable. Therapy with me consists of lots of learning, healthy confrontation, and usually some laughter. Our work together can help you take tangible steps towards your goals. "I am falling apart on the inside. "This world wasn't built for me." "I am always overwhelmed all the time." "My best never feels good enough." If these thoughts have crossed your mind, I promise you aren’t alone. I hear you, and I want to help. I believe therapy doesn’t happen in a vacuum — our lives are shaped by systems, cultures, and histories that can both support and harm us. In our work together, we’ll look not only at your personal experiences but also at the broader context you live in. My goal is to honor your identity, acknowledge the impact of oppression and marginalization, and create a space where all parts of you feel seen and valued. I draw from person-centered, narrative, existential, and ACT, IFS-informed parts work, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) approaches, always centering you as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll explore your story, build on your strengths, and work toward the changes that feel most meaningful to you.

You don't have to figure everything out on your own - I am here to help. College and young adulthood can be exciting, but they can also bring stress, uncertainty, relationship challenges, academic pressure, anxiety, and questions about who you are and where you're headed. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply not like yourself, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move forward with greater confidence. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems—it should help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed practices to help clients better understand themselves, improve relationships, and build resilience. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and communication challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and school-related stress. As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a school counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescents and young adults, I understand the unique challenges that can come with balancing academics, relationships, family expectations, and personal growth. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and engaged. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your goals and values. I provide virtual therapy throughout Colorado and offer services in both English and Spanish.

Life is challenging and confusing, especially during a time like right now. Given the pandemic, many of us are attempting to find normalcy in an extremely abnormal situation. Everyday life has become even more stressful, it's harder to be in relationship, and finding moments of "okay" might be few and far between. Having your own space to talk about your experiences, whether dealing with the present situation or managing old wounds, is not only important but beneficial for maintaining our mental health. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults on a variety of issues. Primarily, I help clients by bringing attention to the storylines we have created (and will continue to create) about ourselves that cause pain, distress, and disconnection. These stories might look like: I am not [fill in the blank] enough; I should be happier/more successful/less afraid; I am unworthy of love; I can't manage life on life's terms; I’m an outsider. Uncovering these storylines and reframing them is the beginning to living a different life, one that feels, well frankly, better.

College is supposed to be “the best years of your life,” but if you’re living with anxiety, it can feel overwhelming instead. Between classes, relationships, social pressures, and the constant question of what comes next, it’s easy to feel stuck in your head and exhausted in your body. I’m Nichole Jones, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in helping college students who feel weighed down by anxiety, perfectionism, or self-doubt. My approach blends proven therapeutic methods with nervous system regulation tools, so you can calm your body, quiet your mind, and feel more at ease in your daily life. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, judgment-free space to talk about what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether it’s racing thoughts, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or just that constant “on edge” feeling, we’ll uncover what your anxiety is trying to tell you and give you tools to handle it. You don’t have to figure this out alone. With the right support, it’s possible to feel calmer, more confident, and more grounded as you move through college and into your future.
