Are you having trouble with falling and staying asleep? Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed? I specialize in working with people who are having trouble sleeping, who are experiencing anxiety, and who are going through reproductive transitions or who are experiencing distress related to their reproductive health (e.g., PMDD, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility). In my work, I aim to cultivate a safe space to hold and honor your emotions, while also providing you with new coping tools to help you process your emotions, get some distance from your thoughts, and help you engage with your life. To do this, I use a blend of evidence-based psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

Are You Still Struggling to Feel Better When You Feel Overwhelmed? Have you already seen medical professionals or therapists to help recover from an accident, injury, medical procedure, assault or childhood abuse, and you still don’t feel significantly better? Does it seem as though you are: Anxious after recurring trauma nightmares? Suffering from PTSD due to military actions or war? Terrified that you will have yet another accident? Overwhelmed with anxiety and don’t understand why? Tired of swinging between angry outbursts and going numb? Depressed because you feel like damaged goods after a trauma? Exhausted from dealing with digestive problems, migraines, and chronic pain which medicines don’t seem to help? Body-centered approach Using a short-term natural therapy approach, I help you to understand and trust that your body knows exactly how to recover from a serious threat. By attending to body sensations as well as thoughts and feelings, trauma symptoms can significantly ease or go away. As a result, you can: Go into strange environments feeling more relaxed: you won’t worry about looking foolish by over reacting to a sound or someone’s comment. Know you can return to a more normal work or school life and even have energy to take on new projects. Have fewer angry outbursts, which scare family members away. Stop reliving the memory of the trauma over and over. Feel confident that you know if it’s ok for someone to touch you. You are not the only one How you are feeling is a very common way people respond to the stress of trauma. Many of my clients feel shame or judge themselves for not being able “to cope”. It is not unusual to hear them blame themselves for getting so upset over a “minor” accident. They feel stupid or “too sensitive” about having allowed something that happened long ago to still affect them. Many believe their life has spun out of control and they find it difficult to get on with their lives. I do accept Victim's Compensation payments
Maya Schmidt, LPC
I specialize in trauma therapy, with extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual violence and other traumatic experiences. If you’ve been through something overwhelming, it can feel like a fog has settled over you, affecting every part of your life. You might find yourself overthinking, being on edge, shutting down, or feeling numb, even when you want to feel present and connected. Many people I work with feel stuck in this space and are unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll work to understand and process your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you. I use EMDR and other approaches to help you address what’s at the core of your symptoms. Feeling safe and understood is essential to this work. We’ll move at a pace that’s manageable for you, creating a space where you can show up as you are without pressure or judgment. While this is a vulnerable process, it’s also what allows for deep, lasting healing. Therapy can help you relate to yourself with more clarity and compassion, develop new patterns, and move toward the life you want to live. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and fully yourself—and to feel more in control of your life—I invite you to reach out. We’ll start with a conversation and see if working together feels like a good fit.

Whole Connection
At Whole Connection we take Medicaid and work on a sliding scale. We provide high quality, accessible psychotherapy to Boulder County. Our team is made up of skilled therapists who provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy. In addition to outpatient therapy we offer a Trauma Recovery and Care program. Our Trauma Recovery and Care program is designed for individuals who are struggling to take control of their lives because they feel dictated by feelings that are deeply connected to their past. If you have been diagnosed with PTSD or you suspect that PTSD is underlying your current symptoms, this could be for you. We believe that all people should have access to Therapy, by clinicians and interns who are continually trained and educated and who are also taken care of (not overworked). In doing so we try and meet the needs of those of the community who come to see us by either sliding our fees or accepting medicaid insurance. Lastly we aim to provide free and affordable trainings for the larger community and clinicians to continue to learn and grow. We also take Victim's Compensation.

Finding a space where you can show up fully, exactly as you are, is where real change begins. My work centers on trauma-informed and culturally responsive counseling, with a focus on emotional regulation and the connection between mind and body. Whether you're navigating identity, processing past experiences, or moving through a significant life transition, this is a space built for your healing. Many of the people I work with are adolescents and adults who carry the weight of trauma, systemic stressors, and the ongoing work of understanding themselves. Those from marginalized and BIPOC communities are especially welcome here, where your experiences will be met with the validation, safety, and cultural awareness they deserve. Beginning therapy takes courage, and honoring that courage is something I take seriously. Together, we'll build insight, develop tools for lasting change and empowerment, and move forward in a way that feels authentic to who you are. Therapy, at its best, is a collaboration. My approach is relational and integrative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and somatic-based practices that attend to both the emotional and physical dimensions of your experience. What that looks like in practice is a space that is nonjudgmental, responsive to your pace, and shaped around your unique story. These techniques help create a sense of safety as you explore your experiences with safety and validation while guiding how we engage with what's been most difficult. The goal isn't just symptom relief; it's a deeper sense of self-trust and the kind of healing that stays with you. No matter where you are when you walk in, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative partner who meets you there. A deep curiosity about how our experiences shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us is what first drew me to this work. Through training and time spent with a diverse range of patients, that curiosity evolved into a genuine commitment to care that is both trauma-informed and culturally responsive. What guides me in every session is a belief that each person's story deserves to be honored in its full complexity. Bringing a warm, attuned, and thoughtful presence to the room is how I create space for you to feel seen, supported, and understood. Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in hiking, walking my dog Jax, reality TV, staying chronically online, and losing myself in a good book across any genre. These moments of rest and play are how I stay grounded, and that same sense of presence and balance is something I bring into my work with you.

Relationships (with ourselves or others) are where our deepest hurts and greatest joys live. It is brave to seek support when things feel messy or overwhelming. You don't have to be perfect to lead, love, or live well—you just need to feel steady and supported. With more than 17 years of experience as a contemplative psychotherapist, I support adults and couples in navigating anxiety, transitions (identities, life, and family), relationship and systemic challenges, and a variety of mental health issues. My practice is rooted in the present moment and Buddhist psychology, which means we start from the belief that you already possess an innate wisdom and basic goodness that needs the opportunity to be uncovered. I offer an unconditional presence and a place to explore this freely. If that resonates, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit. My Approach to Care I specialize in social power dynamics and Contemplative Psychotherapy, integrating training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other therapeutic modalities, offering a systemic lens that honors your whole identity while helping you navigate internal and external conflicts. Whether repairing trust after betrayal, navigating neurodivergence, exploring the complexities of life and identity transitions, or reclaiming your voice within complex systems, I provide the tools needed for deep healing and self-awareness. While I serve adults with any identity, I especially welcome neurodivergent, trans, queer, people with criminal histories, and polyamorous folks who need a therapist who offers a nonjudgmental and experienced perspective. My passion is supporting others in their human journeys toward power-consciousness and right-relationship with themselves, others, and the larger world around us. This includes navigating conflict, befriending our shadows, and learning more about what is most meaningful to us. Working together, you can expect an open and attentive environment where I prioritize your dignity and sense of belonging. My style is both spacious and direct, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs, orientation, and preferences. A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care When I finally found what gave me the strength & flexibility to hold the distress, it was through my relationship with what I call my rooted self and with those who helped me to cultivate my own personal power, time in the natural world, and what was most meaningful to me (not to someone else or dominant culture). I've come to see that the most powerful healing often happens when we uncover our own inner wisdom with those who hold it with respect & care. I've lived in places across the globe, learning different languages, cultures, and ways of being, always moving in search of answers to the distress and disconnection I felt within and around me. Along the way, I studied books, sought spiritual or mystical experiences, and meditated. I was told to turn toward the distress, discomfort, or dissonance, but it felt overwhelming without the right support or understanding. Most of modernity's structures do not support the connection, space, and care required for such human work. When I finally found what gave me the strength and flexibility to hold the distress, it was through my relationship with what I call my rooted self and with those who helped me cultivate my own personal power, time in the natural world, and what was most meaningful to me (not to someone else or the dominant culture). I've come to see that the most powerful healing often happens when we uncover our own inner wisdom with those who hold it with respect and care. I am a mother to three (two girls and one nonbinary kiddo) and partner to one fabulous trans human. Alongside my family, I enjoy time alone, being in nature, and doing creative things. I love to read, write, and research (even though I'm a recovering academic). While I don't have time anymore for things like Latin dance or martial arts, I try to move as much as I can, mostly through intentional or integrated movement for my hypermobile body, and by taking walks.

Kylie Lahey Mental Health Services, PLLC
Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!

Seity, LLC
Seity, LLC provides counseling and supervision as a telehealth group practice based in Longmont, Colorado. Seity comes from Latin roots and means ‘to see oneself.’ We are dedicated to helping you see yourself more clearly, both in your individuality and how you fit into your community. Jessica: You are worthy as you are – an imperfect human who is willing to open your heart for your own health and wellbeing. I don't believe there is such a thing as being "fully healed," because that suggests it's possible for you to be broken. There are, however, always new pieces of yourself to discover and you don’t have to do this alone. I believe that where there is willingness, there is hope. I have a deep passion for the natural world and believe humans can be physically and emotionally healthier when they’re connected to the environment. My approach can incorporate traditional psychotherapy with nature-based interventions. I value creating a safe space for you to explore your emotions and can guide and support you through life’s challenges. Alesia: Being of service and offering a compassionate and empathetic ear is what I was put on this Earth to do. As we move toward accepting our reality, finding our dreams, and growing into the healthiest version of ourselves, we can learn to find our basic values and develop our self-worth, dignity, and purpose. I believe you have the capacity for awareness and joy. I aim to facilitate a safe place for you to begin self-exploration so that you may identify your own strengths and take tangible steps toward your goals. I approach the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to not only listen and understand your experience but also to share information with you that is relevant and meaningful. Whether you need support for yourself or your family, I'm here.
Aspen Dellutri
Fundamentally, my aim is to support my clients in contacting their inner self-knowing, and "make friends" with all of the various parts of themselves in the warmth and security of this inner space. To achieve this, I practice person-centered therapy, with a strong emphasis on somatic awareness. When working with clients, I am listening for "what wants to be heard" that day. In my view, I am a supportive and curious observer, and my job is to reflect back to my client what I am seeing. My style tends to be more direct, and I regularly encourage my clients to take ownership over their treatment and to trust themselves. In a first session with me, we explore where you've been, where you are, and where you would like to go. Often, I invite people to tell me their story and then describe their current situation. We will work together to assess what feels like the most supportive areas of focus, and will create some goals which guide our future sessions. During this process, however, you can still expect curiousity, empowerment, and validation. What's most important in any session is establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
