Hi! I’m Becca. I work with children, teens, and young adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, difficulty transitioning to college, and/ or learning more about identity. I use the therapy space to get to know you on a human level, work through unhelpful patterns, and develop new skills and strategies more aligned with where you want to be. Therapy is a place for growth but also plenty of laughter as well. I identify as queer and am dedicated to providing a supportive space to explore your experiences and learn more about yourself. If this sounds like it could be a good fit, I offer 15 minute consultations. Filling out the contact form on my website is the best way to get in touch.

We are a full service counseling practice accepting new clients in person and via telehealth. We have been around for over 18 years and have an entire team that can see new clients with various presenting issues. If you’re feeling weighed down by responsibility, self-doubt, or the pressure to always “have it together,” I’m here to help. Managing your emotions and difficult life challenges does not have to be something you do on your own. By identifying personal barriers and understanding your story, together we can unpack and release the things that no longer serve you. I use an integrative therapeutic approach and individualize treatments so clients can regain a sense of agency and obtain new skills to make change in their lives. Whether you’re facing tough transitions or just feeling like you’re handling so much all at once, I hope to guide you in taking the shame out of emotions, —while making space for humor, celebration, and emotional clarity. Even if you are hesitant, let's set up a consultation call to see if this would be a good fit for you!
At Personal Balance Counseling, we work with students who may look like they’re managing everything on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or exhausted underneath it all. You might be adjusting to college, struggling with relationships, feeling pressure to succeed, questioning what comes next, or simply realizing that the ways you’ve always coped aren’t working as well anymore. Our therapists work with students experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, difficulty managing emotions, eating and body-image concerns, and major life transitions. We also understand that college can bring a unique mix of independence and uncertainty—balancing classes, work, family expectations, friendships, dating, and figuring out who you are along the way. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive space where you can be yourself, understand what’s going on beneath the surface, develop practical ways to cope, and build healthier patterns that actually fit your life. Personal Balance Counseling offers both in-person and telehealth therapy, with a team of clinicians who bring different personalities, specialties, and approaches to therapy. We’ll help you find someone who feels like the right fit for you.
At RISE Wellness & Therapy, PLLC our philosophy is to believe in you when you have difficulty believing in yourself and to hold on to hope until you can hold it on your own. Following a strength based, relational model we believe that you are the expert in your life and through the therapeutic relationship you have the opportunity to create a healing experience. Now, therapy may not always be easy, but it will be intentional. Just like all relationships, it will be imperfect, but it will be a safe and accepting place for you to explore how to become the version of yourself you want to be. Much like the phoenix, you can rise from the ashes renewed, and ready to raise your possibilities.

I value serving clients from a strengths-based perspective and utilizing a client’s internal strengths as a motivation for change. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and helping clients use the present moment to better understand their experiences. An early inspiration for myself was being inspired by Patch Adams and finding humor as a way to help others heal. While I know that therapy can be challenging, I try to bring in lighter moments to help allow ourselves breaks on your journey to change. I have a social work degree from Aurora University with a specialty in addictions counseling and am a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I have over 5 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked with clients in a variety of settings including: inpatient hospitalization, residential and outpatient therapy. I have served as a therapist in both individual and group settings. I have had the opportunity to serve clients who have experienced substance use, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I am comfortable serving survivors of trauma, and I am here to pay witness to what you need to share. I have experience using the therapeutic modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I am happy to incorporate your spirituality into our practice and to help you explore your faith. In my free time, I enjoy aerial yoga, reading fantasy books, and listening to Harry Potter based podcasts. I look forward to hearing from you and continuing your journey together, because you don’t have to do it alone.

Many of us have been wounded at some point in our lives. Psychological wounds have the capacity to change the way we view ourselves and the way we view and interact with others. Sometimes people experience difficulties articulating the way they feel or find themselves stuck in the same maladaptive patterns in relationships. Therapy can be a useful way to make sense of how your past may be affecting your emotional well being in the here-and-now by putting unformulated experiences into words to help you heal. Using a relational approach to therapy, I aspire to offer my clients the kind of empathic environment that empowers them to heal from the past, work through present-day difficulties, change long-standing patterns in relationships, and move forward in ways that are meaningful for them. If you are looking for a safe and nonjudgmental space to make meaning of your experience feel free to contact me. I value collaborating on ways to help you achieve your personal goals.

Hi, my name is Dr. Celia and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who opened my practice to help those who want to make a change in their lives. I specialize in working with trauma across the lifespan, which is how I know how significantly our brains and bodies can shift after a difficult event and/or a series of difficult life circumstances. Therapy is a space for us to explore how our past informs who we are. Being able to form meaningful relationships is a key part of our mental wellness, and therapy can help you build and maintain healthy relationships.
Do you identify as gender diverse (transgender, non-binary, gender queer, etc)? Are currently questioning or discovering your gender and/or needing a referral letter for medical transition steps? Jack Garner, LCSW is a licensed clinical therapist in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois and is a member of WPATH. Their practice is offered online where they provide individual counseling and coaching as well as referral letters for medical transition steps, such as HRT and surgeries (Note, all WPATH referral letters are provided under the informed consent model - meaning NO gate-keeping practices and it takes just one session to obtain your letter). I identify as gender diverse (AFAB, Non-Binary, Transmasc), which allows me to have a unique understanding, both personal and professional, that is not often found in the therapy world. I am passionate about serving our community and understand what it is like to question your gender, experience dysphoria, and take medical transition steps. If you are looking for a therapist who truly understands you and has 'been there' themselves - I am here for you! I look forward to meeting you and will absolutely consider it my honor to assist you in discovering and/or furthering your path to authenticity, wholeness, and joy.
