I am currently accepting new clients & have evening openings. As your therapist, I strive to create a space in which you feel comfortable to explore your inner world in a deep and meaningful way. I work to provide support while challenging any maladaptive patterns. Therapy can help deepen insight, create healthier thinking and habits, and explore strengths while healing. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and client-centered, and together we can help you realize your potential. I incorporate CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, and trauma-informed therapy, depending on the specific needs and preferences of each of my clients. My practice specializes in adolescents and adults. I work with individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives due to life transitions, anxiety, low self-esteem, mood disorders, and more. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support and challenge you to create healthier balance and reach your goals. With my therapy clients, I believe that the healing comes from having a strong, genuine connection between the client and the therapist. My goal is to provide empathy, support, and validation in order to encourage my clients to feel comfortable exploring their inner experiences and making healthy and positive changes.

My name is Ally Rosenberg, and I am a licensed therapist and founder of Rise with Rose Counseling. Good therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I'm here to listen with compassion and support, and tailor the treatment to meet your unique needs. I am trained in an approach called, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, where you can expect to learn tangible tools to build healthy habits, grow into your strengths, navigate unpleasant emotions, and overall empower you in your day to day. Have you been in therapy before or are you new to mental health therapy? My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at and move together towards the changes you would like to see. I pull from a variety of different styles to address your goals, including skill building, CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed care approaches. I hope to foster a space where you feel seen and heard and where you are able to take care of what has brought you to therapy (or back to therapy) in the first place. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or, in some cases, monthly sessions at 45 or 60 minutes in length via telehealth. All sessions start with a phone call where we 1) make sure I am the right fit for you, 2) verify your insurance or payment method is active and all set, and 3) schedule you an intake and an ongoing appointment time that works for your schedule. I return all calls and email requests for therapy services and hope that I may be of help to you at this point in time or, at the very least, be able to point you in the right direction.

There are a lot of really good reasons to start therapy. For some this may be be uncovering the authentic self, finding a felt sense of safety, and the confidence to build meaningful and lasting relationships. In my fifteen years of practice I have developed an approach that is intuitive and individualized, blending emotional insight, mind body awareness, and an understanding of your lived experience. I work holistically, identifying the emotional, physical, and situational pieces that shape your inner world. I work with individuals wanting to discover ways to move more authentically and confidently through this moment in their life. Whether that is adjusting to a major life changes, break ups, or dealing with emotional challenges. I provide additional specialized care for those recovering from religious trauma, purity culture, and spiritual abuse. I understand that getting into therapy can be a challenge in its own right. I am happy to walk you through logistical concerns and insurance verifications. All sessions are done through telehealth. For nearly 15 years, I worked as a high school teacher, advisor, dean, and administrator. Working with adolescents was fun, rewarding, and dynamic. As a social worker, I have worked in college settings, residential substance use treatment, and a community mental health clinic. I have significant clinical experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use, and specialize in working with adolescents, college students and emerging adults. I bring a particular appreciation for the stage of life between childhood and full adulthood, an understanding of the pressures of this age range, and a wealth of experience helping people navigate the challenges of growing up. I feel comfortable working with people of all identities and backgrounds. I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults, Jewish and other faith communities, and older adults. I strive to be culturally competent and curious as I learn about another person. I believe everyone needs to be heard and helped regardless of religion, creed, or political beliefs.
Hi there! I'm Heather, a proud Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice as a prescriber since 2023, and worked in the mental health field in various settings for more than a decade prior as an RN. I work across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. (Please note that at this time I am not prescribing controlled substances.) I believe in shared decision making and a person-centered approach to care; we're a team! I have a kind but direct approach to discussions and am solution-focused. I believe that medications are a tool, not a fix, so we will talk about a variety of interventions to support your wellness. You can expect that I will ask about your goals for care, and life, and that we will work together to meet those goals. I will sometimes assign "homework" to continue interventions outside of sessions in addition to any medication changes we may decide to make.
