Windhorse Community Services is a home-based treatment program. Clients live in their own homes/apartments and are offered a wide range of supportive services. A Windhorse therapeutic team can include basic attendance, intensive psychotherapy, therapeutic housemate as needed, family therapy, employment services and community programs. College can be a scary, stressful time for anyone, especially people who are struggling with complex feelings and situations outside of school. If you are someone who is trying to process a complex family dynamic, trying to cope with feelings of anxiety or depression, juggling your responsibilities with the demands of a chronic illness, or trying to process any form of grief or loss, I may be able to help! I utilize motivational interviewing and a strengths-based, person-centered approach with all of my clients, and further tailor the treatment plan to best fit your unique goals. By working together we can identify your strengths and I can provide you with tools to best use them. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) working under the supervision of Haley Lafferty, LCSW. I am LGBTQ+ identifying and affirming, and offer both individual and couples therapy.

It is my belief that your wisdom combined with my experience and openness can lead to a life of more joy and freedom. I have been working with individuals, couples, and groups in the counseling psychotherapy field since 1994. It has been a privilege and joy to watch so many couples find their way back to intimacy, so many individuals find relief in what may be tormenting them, so many others find joy and fulfillment in their lives. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I draw from humanistic psychology, somatic psychotherapy, existential psychology and philosophy, gestalt therapy and psychodynamic theories. Which simply means I work with the body, choices, and meaning making. I invite you into the room with me, all of you, including the aspects of yourself that you may have difficulties with. Therapy is a form of play where one experiments with ways of being. In doing this you begin to discover and ultimately let go of what is getting in the way of having a full rich and joyful life. You will discover a multitude of choices of how to approach life and relationships. You will find the opportunity to step into your freedom. This leads to more openness, presence, and creativity.

Dr. Oleg Turayev is a psychologist specializing in anxiety, trauma, family issues, and college and young adult mental health for over a decade. He works with anyone 16 and older, from people coping with significant mental illness to those experiencing typical stressors of daily life.
