In today’s fast-paced world, many people are expected to keep pushing forward while quietly carrying the emotional and physical burden of chronic illness. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating chronic health conditions and the psychological challenges that often accompany them, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, and disenfranchised grief. I believe in a holistic path to healing; a path where the mind, body and spirit is embraced in the work that we will do together. I primarily use a combination of IFS, mindfulness, SE, hypnotherapy, CBT, ACT, and narrative therapies. Over the last 20 years I have worked extensively in a variety of healthcare settings including long-term care, hospice, and an acute care hospital setting. Recently, I worked as a medical social worker in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic where I supported patients and their loved ones in navigating the unknown. I also have experience in supporting those who suffer from more rare illnesses including autoimmune diseases, multiple chemical sensitivities, mast cell activation syndrome, chronic inflammatory response syndrome, and chronic Lyme. Working in a variety of healthcare settings has provided me with a unique lens into the many needs and adversities that individuals encounter in the US healthcare system. Through my experiences I have seen firsthand how connected our minds and bodies are, which led me to study interventions and techniques that can help manage a multitude of symptoms such as anxiety, pain, GI distress, and much more. I also have additional training in trauma-informed care and am now a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I work hard to find the right combination of therapeutic interventions to meet each individual's needs.

Winding Willow Psychotherapy PLLC
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and transgender man whose work centers on understanding how trauma shapes people and supporting healing from those experiences. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients, offering care that helps people feel seen, affirmed, and understood—often in ways they may not have experienced before. Life is heavy when you are disoriented after leaving a belief system or being alienated and trying to cope while longing for healing when all you want to do is rest. I create a space of safety, curiosity, and genuine connection for people making sense of what they've lived through and the world they now inhabit. Together, we build understanding and gently create more room for relief, peace, and self-trust. It's okay if therapy feels intimidating or confusing, and it's okay if you don't have the right words to begin. If meaning feels distant, your mind won’t quiet, or the past keeps intruding on the present, you’re not alone—and I may be a good fit. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting or fixing what happened. Often, it looks like feeling more at home in yourself, having greater choice in how you respond, and finding moments of steadiness—even when life remains complex.

If anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, phobias or depressive thoughts take up too much space in your life, I will work with you to uncover their sources. You can establish and engage in useful coping skills that will allow you to spend less time battling your thoughts and more time living the life you want. If you're a couple struggling with relationship concerns, I will work with you to restore harmony in your relationship and strengthen your connection. I aim to provide a safe, warm and non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore their emotions, while also feeling comfortable and validated when sharing experiences, thoughts and behaviors. I practice using evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as self-compassion and mindfulness techniques. Gottman Method Couples Therapy informs my work with couples. If you choose therapy as a next step, I would be honored to work with you and support you in your journey of self-growth and healing! Seeking support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. From the moment we begin working together, my goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore life's challenges, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace. With nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, I work with adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and the impacts of addiction. There is a particular place in my heart for emerging adults as they find their footing through identity development, relationships, career pressures, and the significant changes that come with early adulthood. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I approach every person I work with as exactly that: an individual. Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and narrative therapy, I meet you where you are and build a holistic, individualized therapeutic experience that feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Recognizing that each person's experiences, challenges, and healing process are different shapes everything about how I show up for you. My aim, as a person-centered and trauma-informed therapist, is for you to leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and more connected to yourself as you navigate life's complexities. Graduating with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2023 marked the beginning of a career rooted in purpose. Upon earning my LPC credential, I began providing outpatient therapy in the Boulder area, offering individual counseling to adults seeking support in managing their mental health and building a fulfilling life. At the heart of this work is a deep belief in the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Whatever you are navigating, I am here to walk alongside you with care and understanding.
ShorePeak Psychiatry and Wellness
I have been working in the outpatient setting for over 10 years. I've rotated through a student mental health clinic during my training and have worked with many college aged students. College can be an exciting time of change and growth and finding purpose and connection. College can also be a big adjustment, as you acclimate to a new setting, new responsibilities and being away from home for an extended period, sometimes for the first time. It is often during these big life changes that you may need a little extra help settling in, getting into new routines. Through a combination of therapy and careful use of medication, we can work on getting you in a place to fully engage in and enjoy your college experience.
Kindred Ground Counseling-Kelsey Cockrell, LPC
Therapy shouldn’t feel like a clinical interrogation. After seven years working with young people inside Colorado schools, I know that just opening up to someone new takes incredible guts. Because effective therapy relies on a strong therapeutic alliance, I prioritize tailored human connection over rigid assessment & clinical stuffiness, laying the groundwork for us to work as true partners in the process.
Caroline Fraase Therapy
Do you lie awake at night, sheets twisting beneath you, worst-case scenarios running through your head? On social media, you’re bombarded with horrific news of terrorist attacks, plane crashes, mass shootings. The unremarkable posts hurt just as much. Captions like “My mom is the best! I’d be lost without her!” make you clench up inside, heat coursing through your veins. People tell you to “Stay strong,” but they have no idea what you’ve been through. After experiencing trauma, nothing feels safe or certain. You want to curl up on the couch and push everything else away. I am so glad you are here. You deserve to be seen, heard and understood. With an outstretched hand, I will meet you where you are and together we can walk towards wholeness and healing. Imagine waking up fully rested, enjoying that smooth cup of coffee, driving to work confident that you can handle the day’s challenges and feeling fully present in your life. I’m ready to help you heal from trauma. Let's shed the shame and weight so you feel calm and in control. Send me an email today so we can schedule our first session. You deserve to take up space. You are worth it.

Unhelpful patterns and disconnection in relationships can keep partners unseen, frustrated, exhausted, and alone. It might be frequent fights, or conflict that escalates, or a desire for a deeper connection. I help couples with presentations ranging from premarital checkups to moving past affairs and high conflict. You can get to a clearer level of understanding and break out of your typical pattern. In nourishing a relationship, we build a safe haven of comfort and joy which gives the strength to face life challenges. This powerful force, called love, is the most important thing in this life. As a scientist-practitioner (24 research publications), I am devoted to effective, scientifically proven methods that forever change lives and relationships. I have advanced training in the most effective couples therapy methods (Emotion-Focused and Gottman Method). I can’t tell you how much I love seeing real change for the couples that I work with! I will guide you in having conversations that will move you and your partner toward a more secure relationship with greater joy. You don’t have to live another day with a sense of wanting more and wondering how to move toward the relationship you are yearning for. I hope you do reach out here or at www.TashaSeiterTherapy.com. I would love to help.

Hello, When life feels overwhelming, unmanageable, or just not enjoyable, getting out of bed in the morning can be hard. Going to work, school, interacting with family or friends, and looking forward to tomorrow can feel like torture. When in this dark place, focusing and making decisions can seem impossible and life is just a daily grind with no enjoyment in site. Life changes catch you off guard and to adjust to the new situation you just need support. Whatever the situation, this may be your present, but it does not have to be your future. Relief from this prison is possible and feeling alive again can happen. Help is a phone call away. I provide you the opportunity to improve, adjust, and balance your life. The focus of your counseling will be whatever is most important to you. This may include life transition, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, self-image, relationship issues, or alcohol/drug use. Working together we can help you to find the happier and healthier future that is possible. No matter who you are, there is hope and help. Although counseling is a process, it is well worth the time and effort. In my office there is safety to talk about your issues, fears, or secretes. There is never judgment and you are in control. I would love to help you. In my practice, my goal is helping others to take back control of life – to feel joy in the little things and finding peace in the chaos. I strive to be a guide, walking with you and not pushing you to the future you want. You may have had past experiences of counseling that were negative. As you are different from everyone else, counselors are also different. I will show you a positive counseling experience. I view counseling as a collaborative relationship – one without judgment, expectations, or force. You deserve to be heard and valued unconditionally. You are the expert on your life and situations, so I will listen and hear you to understand your needs, wants, and desires. Together we will create a plan for reaching your goals.
