Hello! My name is Mike and I have been working as a therapist since I graduated with my Master’s in Applied Clinical Psychology from USC Aiken in 2022. Prior to this I attended The Ohio State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I have worked as a therapist in a university psychology clinic, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in the community with children and teens, and currently in the prison system. Adjusting to the rigours of academics and the school environment can sometimes be challenging. In my practice, I have helped students cope with Anxiety, Panic attacks, Inattention/lack of focus (ADHD), Depression, Trauma/Stress (PTSD), Obsession/compulsion (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, and other mental health conditions that negatively impact academic progress. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, and Narrative Therapy, as well as creative and play therapy techniques.
